Past, Present, & Future
History, Enterprise & Vision
Embracing our vibrant heritage of education and performance, we are an ambitious and enterprising organisation – a world-wide family of students and teachers.
Building on twenty-eight years of experience, we continue to lead developments in music and language education, and to embrace and cultivate new ideas. In supportive and nurturing environments located in beautiful settings across Europe, we assist our students to grow, to explore and to challenge boundaries.
We are proud to welcome students regardless of level, background or prior experience: Applicants are not required to audition but are offered a bespoke programme of study tailored to their needs and interests. Personal timetables create a unique creative journey for each student with our world-class tutors. On all courses, we provide an enviable amount of student-staff contact ranging from daily lessons with designated tutors, to diverse activities – formal and informal – with all staff.
We promote and cultivate students’ individual musical voices and welcome diversity of opinion. Students are immersed in an environment which stimulates learning, where they may refine and polish their skills: they flourish in a space which is brimming with creativity, energy, passion and joy.
Every instrumental / vocal student is guided whilst preparing to perform in our concerts, and we support composers to showcase their pieces in collaboration with students and staff. Consistently, these are inspiring events which showcase ambitious and diverse repertoire full of creative energy and artistic integrity. Students benefit from performing to family, friends and staff alongside guests from the local community who we are delighted to engage with.
Looking forward, our programmes shall remain vibrant and meaningful, and continue to evolve in an ever-changing world. We shall ensure that our students flourish as individuals, developing their skills to reach the highest standard possible. Our focus will therefore continue to prioritise learning which assists students to teach themselves, and to be curious, independent and adaptable.
Above all, it is our belief that creating and communicating with language and music must remain vital in our culture and so we shall continue to cultivate transformational learning experiences which inspire our students and enrich the lives of others.
